On Y-axis the percentage of growth, calculated according to the protocol used by the National Cancer Institute, is reported. The GI50 values for both cell lines were calculated by linear regression analysis of the log (dose/effect) curve. B. Annexin-V apoptosis assay was performed after a 24-h treatment with 0.5 and 5 μM CPT. DMSO and TNF-alpha plus actinomycin D were used as negative and positive controls, respectively.
